The state has a rich cultural heritage in terms of festivals, music, dance, drama, crafts and even administration. It has 32 autonomous traditional institutions in the from of Emirates Councils mostly in the Northern part and Chiefdoms in the southern part.
Kaduna State people are highly religious. The major religious in the state are Islam and Christianity, with Islam predominately practiced in the Northern part and Christianity in the southern part. Traditional religions is still practiced in some areas within the state side with the two orthodox religions.
